Becoming a member of Dorchester & District Angling Society has never been easier. You can now apply for a membership and pay online through CLUBMATE. CLUBMATE is a system that securely stores every members information making communication much easier and more efficient.
Members are encouraged to check their personal information on CLUBMATE to ensure that their personal details like email address etc, are correct.
Which membership you will need for your Junior, will depend upon their age when you
apply to join the club for the first time or how old they are on the 1st June each year
when memberships need to be renewed.

Full membership runs from the 1st June to 31st May each year.

Fees are as follows;
Members up to the age of 13 are required to purchase a PRIMARY membership (£10 + charges where applicable).
Members between the ages of 14 to 17 (inclusive) are required to purchase a JUNIOR membership (£20 + charges where applicable).
A Non-Angling Parent/Guardian (NAP) membership must be purchased by supervising adults if the parent or guardian does not have a full adult membership.
NAP memberships can be purchased for £5.00 + addition charges where applicable.
All PRIMARY members are required to always be under adult supervision.
This means that ALL adults attending organised DDAS Junior events AND those adults supervising fishing sessions OUTSIDE the organised events (pleasure fishing), must purchase a NAP membership if they are not in possession of a full adult membership.
NAP memberships may supervise up to three primary members in one session.
The reason for these revisions is to make sure all our members are correctly covered by both safeguarding and insurance.

Between the ages of 13 to 16 inclusive, Juniors are required, by law, to possess a fishing rod licence. These are FREE and available from the Environment Agency online, Click below.
